Bollywood welcomes Lord Ganesha amid great enthusiasm to mark the auspicious occasion of Ganesha Chaturthi. And when it is such a big celebration, how can they forget to seek blessings from Mumbai’s king Lalbaughcha Raja. While many have put idols of Lord Ganesha at their homes, and a few have already bid goodbye to the Lord waiting to call them soon again. Amitabh Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan with daughter Aaradhya , Ajay Devgan and Priyanka Chopra made a visit to Mumbai’s biggest Lord Ganesh idol.

Actor Sanjay Datt welcome Lord Ganesha at Home and Sharing his photo celebrating Ganesh Chaturthy, tweeted, “Thank you Bappa for all the blessings! Lots of love to everyone from me and my family. Ganpati Bappa Morya”.

Sonali Bendre is happy to have Ganesha back at her home. The actor shared the picture of her Ganpati Bappa and captioned the photo, “Blessed to have Ganpati Bappa with us once again…. Happy Ganesh Chaturthi everyone! #StayBlessed #GanpatiBappaMorya.”

Bollywood actor Jackie Shroff along with his family members also offered prayers to Lord Ganesha on the the first day of the Ganesh Chaturthi Festival at his residence in Mumbai on Friday.

Govinda, like every year, this year too brought Ganesha home on Ganesh Chaturthi. He extended his warm wishes on the festival as he wrote on his social media, “‪Ap Sabhi Ko #GaneshChathurthi Ki Shubhkaamnaaye ‪#GanpatiBappaMoreya.”

The festival of Ganpati has always been a grand affair for the Oberois. Vivek Oberoi, who turned father for the second time last year couldn’t stop from expressing his joy and happiness to everyone. The actor took to Twitter to share his message which read as, “Ganpati Bappa Moriya !!! Prayed for everyone to receive his divine grace and blessings!”

Actor Neil Nitin Mukesh will be celebrating his first Ganesh Chaturthi with his wife Rukmini this year at his residence and his family is going the extra mile to ensure it’s a memorable one. The theme for the family’s 23rd Ganesh Chaturthi will be based on the deities Krishna and Rukmini with Rasleela coming to life this year.

Changing the trend of last 14 years, the Khandaan will not be celebrating the festival at their place, Instead the family will go to Arpita Khan’s house for the celebrations. Salman Khan who is back in the town was spotted visiting sister Arpita’s house for Ganesh Darshan.

Arpita Khan Sharma’s Ganpati was well attended by the likes of Priyanka and Madhu Chopra, Malaika Arora Khan, Lulia Vantur, Juhi Chawla Swara Bhaskar and Daisy shah.

Baahubali 2 actor Tammanaah looked gorgeous as she welcomed Lord Ganesha on “Ganesh Chaturthi”.

Shraddha Kapoor too enjoyed the day off with her loved ones.

Actor Ranbir Kapoor also worshiped Lord Ganesha on “Ganesh Chaturthi”.

An excited Vidya Balan posted a picture with Rekha from the celebrations of the festival and wrote, “With the ever so gorgeous Rekha ji at Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations last evening ”.

Shipla Shetty attended Ganesh Festival for taking blessing from Lord Ganesha.
